Ruairķ O'Flynn - Managing Director

Ruairí joined Setanta in May 2007. He has over 30 years experience in the Financial Services Industry in Ireland and the UK, including senior positions in Canada Life, and Bank of Ireland, and seven years as Managing Director of Lifetime Assurance. Ruairí has a Bachelor of Business Studies and Masters (MSc) in Organisational Behaviour from Trinity College Dublin, and has completed the Program for Management Development at Harvard Business School.

Kieran Dempsey – Director and Chief Investment Officer

Kieran joined Setanta in January 2008. He has 22 years investment experience, most recently as Chief Executive Officer of GE Asset Management Ltd. He had been with GE for 13 years, including seven years in Munich as Chief Investment Officer of GE Insurance Solutions. Kieran has a BA from University College Dublin.

Alan Hickey - Marketing Director

Alan joined Setanta in December 2007. He has 20 years experience in Investments and Insurance, most recently as European CEO and Head of European Business Development for Conning Asset Management, a subsidiary of Swiss Re Group. Prior to this he was an Equity Portfolio Manager for Swiss Re Asset Management. Alan holds a BA in Accounting and Finance from Dublin City University, and is a qualified management accountant (ACMA) and a corporate treasurer (ACT).

Aidan Comerford - Head of Operations & IT

Aidan joined Setanta in March 2000. He has 14 years experience in the asset management industry, including positions supporting Irish Institutional clients at Bank of Ireland Asset Management and New Ireland Investment Managers. Aidan holds a BSc. in Business & Information Technology from Trinity College Dublin.
